Abhishek Bhartiya, with a master’s degree in social work, has 21 years of experience in the development sector. His expertise encompasses monitoring and evaluation, resource mobilization, and networking. Since 2004, he has been instrumental in leading BJUP and collaborating with international, national, and CSR partners. He has also been a member of various national and international networks and alliances, contributing to collaborative efforts and knowledge exchange. His involvement in these networks has enhanced BJUP’s outreach and effectiveness in addressing social issues on a broader scale.

With over 25 years in the NGO sector, Alpan Kumar Sinha excels in education, health, and gender issues. He holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Development (PGDRD) from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi. Currently at BJUP, he leads program quality and fundraising for last one year. Previously, he worked with Diksha Foundation, for transforming Patna into a socially inclusive city and with the Centre for Catalysing Change (C3), overseeing adolescent education and capacity building in Bihar. His experience spans diversified roles at Pathfinder International, HelpAGE India, and BVHA, focusing on project management, advocacy, fundraising, and capacity building.

Raushan Kumar is a distinguished professional with over 10 years of experience in program implementation and leadership roles. With a master’s degree in psychology, he has developed a profound understanding of human behaviour and social dynamics. Raushan is dedicated to child rights, care, and protection, demonstrating his commitment to enhancing the lives of vulnerable individuals, particularly children. As the current Program Manager (Implementation) at BJUP for the last 8 years, he oversees the implementation of all organizational projects. His diverse background includes corporate experience, having worked with WIPRO as a site in-charge for the IT sector. Raushan is currently working as Project Manager in the Gram Seva Project supported by SBI Foundation.

With over 1.5 years of audit and finance experience, CA Manish Kumar Singh brings strong expertise in statutory auditing, taxation, and financial management. A Chartered Accountant and B.Com (Hons.) graduate from Calcutta University, he is currently serving as Finance Manager at BJUP, where he oversees budgeting, compliance, and financial planning. Previously, he worked with PwC and ICICI Bank as a Credit Manager, gaining valuable exposure in loan assessment and credit operations. He also served as a Partner at Agarwal Tibrewal & Co., leading audits and consultancy projects across sectors including construction, energy, and textiles.

Dr. Sumit Shekhar is a seasoned social worker with over 6 years of experience in supporting marginalized communities and managing complex projects. As Program Manager, he leads strategic development and networking at BJUP for last three years. With advanced degrees in social work and population studies from Banaras Hindu University and the International Institute for Population Sciences and Ph.D. at IIT (BHU), Sumit has published research papers extensively. His background includes consulting and coordinating roles at various organizations such as HCL Foundation, focusing on health, education, and rural development.

Nivedita is Passionate about making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate and this passion drives her as a seasoned Humanitarian Professional in development sector with over 8 years of work experience in Planning, developing and implementing effective communication strategies and provide technical support across all interventions of the organization. Nivedita has been proactively documenting programs, Annual Report and writing on the many facets of the organizations work. Her core expertise involves documenting various communications, training learning materials and other Resource information.Nivedita holds Master’s in sociology from Patna University. Soon after her post-graduation, she began to work in the development space because of her inclination toward building a sustainable & equitable community. Currently, she is working with BJUP as Manager, Communications and Documentation. In her spare time, she loves to engage herself in freelancing work.

Prakash is a committed and results-oriented development sector specialist with a master’s degree in rural management and a great passion for bringing about constructive social change. With more than 14 years of experience in the banking and development sectors, Prakash is an expert in gender, livelihood, education, health and child protection. He has a proven track record of delivering effective solutions in a variety of cultural contexts, and in his current role at BJUP, he is skilled at creating and implementing sustainable development projects, forming strategic partnerships, and advocating for marginalised communities. He is also committed to fostering inclusivity, empowerment, and resilience in underserved regions.

With hands-on experience in microfinance, technical support, and e-governance projects, he has developed expertise in computer applications, demonstrating his proficiency in this area. Specializing in collaborations with government institutions, Kishan focuses on youth development, rural progress, and social welfare initiatives. Currently, he serves as a Project Coordinator for Holistic Rural Development, supported by HDFC Bank Parivartan. In this role, Kishan excels at designing and executing sustainable development projects, forging strategic partnerships, and advocating for marginalized communities.

Indrajit Kumar is a seasoned professional in the field of community development, holding a Master’s degree in Rural Development (MARD). With over 8 years of experience, his career is marked by collaborative efforts with NGOs at various levels, spanning local, national, international, and partnership initiatives. Indrajit’s expertise lies in strategic planning, execution, and monitoring of projects aimed at fostering holistic community development across diverse sectors including child protection, health, education, social entitlements, family planning, and livelihood. His versatile skill set encompasses training and capacity building, project management, monitoring and evaluation, documentation, reporting, leadership development, and administrative management. Anurag is currently engaged with BJUP, leveraging a robust three-year background in dynamic communication, thorough documentation, and strategic implementation within the Holistic Rural Development Program (HRDP). Satyanarayan Kumar is a seasoned professional in Management Information Systems (MIS) with over a decade of experience in the development sector. He has collaborated with various regional and international NGOs such as Lok Prabhat and Indo Global Social Service Societies (IGSSS). Moreover, he has served as the IT coordinator at the District Education Office Nawada as part of the Saakshar Bharat Mission program. Equipped with a bachelor’s degree in history and a diploma in Computer Education, Satyanarayan excels in his role as an MIS Coordinator at BJUP within the Holistic Rural Development Program. Lakhan Mukhiya, an experienced Development Professional, brings over 8 years of dedicated service to the development sector. He holds a master’s degree in social work from Karnataka Open University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Development. His expertise spans key thematic areas such as Child Rights and Protection, School Management Committee (SMC) strengthening, empowering Child Parliament groups, promoting Menstrual and Personal Hygiene practices, and supporting the mainstream integration of marginalized children through close collaboration with teachers and communities. Dinesh Kumar Prabhakar is a Postgraduate from M.U. Bodh Gaya with a Diploma in Computer Application (DCA), and has over 15 years of extensive experience in project management. His expertise spans implementation, planning, budgeting, training, resource mobilization and utilization, as well as networking for advocacy, evaluation, documentation, scheduling, and tracking in various sectors including Health, Water & Environmental Sanitation, Child Sponsorship, Child Rights, Governance, Livelihood Promotion, Education, and Disaster (integrated project).He is currently serving as a Field Officer in the SBI GRAM SEVA project at Bhartiya Jan Utthan Parishad, where he plays a pivotal role in implementing rural development initiatives aimed at holistic village..

Kanhaiya Lal holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Karnataka Open University and currently serves as a Project Counselor at Bhartiya Jan Utthan Parishad in Nawada, Bihar. He is currently working as an Accountant with Bhartiya Jan Utthan Parishad in Bihar Sharif, Nalanda, Bihar. With over 5 years of experience in the development sector, Bharat has contributed to programs focusing on nutrition and health, SHG-based livelihood promotion, education, and financial monitoring.
